Thematic Analyses on the Study Fields “Management, Administration and Management of Real Property” and “Environmental Protection”

The Quality Agency for Higher Education (AIKA) continues its comprehensive assessment of all study fields and their study programmes and the accreditation of study fields. The assessment and accreditation of study fields is carried out according to the schedule foreseen by the Law on Higher Education Institutions.
AIKA organises the assessment and accreditation of study fields in accordance with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and the related national legal framework.
In the second half of spring 2026, two thematic analyses have been completed – on the study field “Management, Administration and Management of Real Property” and on the study field “Environmental Protection”, which provide an extensive summary of the results obtained within the framework of the assessment and accreditation procedures of these study fields.
The study field “Environmental Protection” is offered by several higher education institutions – Riga Technical University, Daugavpils University, Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, University of Latvia and Liepaja University (currently as Riga Technical University).

The assessment and the accreditation of study field “Management, Administration and Management of Real Property” and the assessment of its programmes were carried out in more than twenty higher education institutions.
