The procedure for the assessment of changes to the accredited study field shall be implemented in cases where the higher education institution or college introduces significant changes to the study field, which correspond to any of the cases referred to in Sub-Paragraph 2.3 of Cabinet Regulation No. 793 of 11 December 2018 “Regulations on Opening and Accreditation of Study Directions”:

  • changes to the name of the study programme of the relevant study field, the code of the study programme, the place, type, and form of its implementation, the language in which the study programme is implemented, the professional qualification or the degree to be acquired;
  • changes regarding the compliance of the study programme with the respective study field;
  • changes to the admission requirements for the study programme of the relevant study field;
  • changes to the study programme introduced in the accreditation period of the relevant study field if these changes refer to the duration or the amount of this study programme or exceed 20 per cent of the amount of the study programme of the relevant study field in credit points, as specified in the accreditation application;
  • decline in the level of qualification of the academic staff working in the study field or the study programme of the relevant study field at the higher education institution or college since the last accreditation of this study field, if it applies to at least 20 per cent of the total number of the academic staff working in the respective study field, or if at least 50 per cent of the total amount of academic work at the higher education institution or college in the respective study field (excluding the elective part of study programme, implementation of traineeships, and final examinations) is no longer provided by the academic staff, who has been elected to the respective higher education institution or college.
