Call for experts in study field assessment in Lithuania

The Lithuanian Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) is looking for experts to perform study field evaluations in Lithuania in 2024.
Experts applying should:
- be currently active and known in their fields as researchers, teachers of the subject, or be Bologna experts, independent higher education consultants;
- have previous experience of participation in peer reviews in at least two EHEA countries, within the international panels of experts, during the last 10 years;
- be fluent in English (level C1 according to CERF (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) or equivalent).
SKVC is currently looking for experts for the evaluation procedures in Lithuania of the following study fields, to be evaluated with accreditation purposes in the second half of 2024:
- Architecture
- Electrical engineering
- Film
- Journalism
- Political science
- Production and Manufacturing Engineering
- Religious studies
- Software engineering
- Theatre
Once a candidacy is approved and the expert is included in SKVC’s database, invitations to evaluations are issued. The duration of site visits depends on a particular study field assessment, it usually takes from 2 up to 5 work days depending on the number of study programmes within a study field and the number of higher education institutions to be visited.
