Thematic Analysis on the Study Field “Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Food Hygiene”

The Quality Agency for Higher Education (AIKA) continues its comprehensive assessment of all study fields and their study programmes and the accreditation of study fields. The assessment and accreditation of study fields is carried out according to the schedule foreseen by the Law on Higher Education Institutions.

AIKA organises the assessment and accreditation of study fields in accordance with the Standards and guidelines for quality assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and the related national legal framework.

In autumn 2025, a thematic analysis of the study field “Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Food Hygiene” was completed, providing an extensive summary of the results obtained within the framework of the assessment and accreditation procedures for this study field.

The study field “Agriculture, Forestry, Fishery, and Food Hygiene” is offered by two higher education institutions – Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies and Malnava College of the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies.
