Seminar

Within the new cycle of study direction assessment process, higher education institutions and colleges will be able to submit the Self-Assessment Reports of study directions electronically, using the new e-platform. In August and September, the Academic Information Centre (AIC) organised a cycle of training workshops for the representatives of higher education institutions and colleges.

In 2020, the assessment of five study directions is to be performed, which include “Psychology”, “Legal Science”, “Economics”, “Information and Communication Sciences”, and “Management, Administration, and Real Estate Management”. The higher education institutions and colleges, which implement these study directions, were invited to participate in the workshop on the preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Reports on the e-platform.

During the workshop, AIC experts provided information on the use of the e-platform in the assessment procedure of study directions. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to do practical work in the closed environment of the e-platform. This workshop activity was organised in eight small groups with the total of 79 participants from 27 institutions of higher education.

The public section of the e-platform is open for anyone – eplatforma.aika.lv

In order to ensure the accreditation and licensing process, an e-platform has been developed within the European Social Funds project “Support for Meeting the Requirements Set for EQAR Agency”
