SKVC Invites Latvian Experts to Participate in the Evaluation of Study Fields in Lithuania in 2026

The Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC) in Lithuania has announced an open call for international experts to take part in the external quality assessment of study fields in 2026.
Requirements for Applicants
Those interested are invited to apply if they are:
- active researchers, academic teaching staff, Bologna experts, or independent higher education consultants;
- experienced in participating in international expert panels in at least two countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) over the past ten years;
- proficient in English at C1 level or equivalent (the evaluation process will be conducted in English).
Study Fields to Be Evaluated in 2026
The following study fields will be evaluated:
In the first half of 2026:
- Cosmetology
- Food Technologies
- Safety Engineering
- Human Resource Management
In the second half of 2026:
- Law
- Management
- Pedagogy
Participation Details
- Approved experts will be added to SKVC’s expert database and selected for specific evaluation procedures on a case-by-case basis.
- Evaluation visits typically last 2–4 working days, depending on how many higher education institutions in the study field are being reviewed.
- Experts will receive compensation that includes travel and accommodation costs, determined according to their expertise and the scope of work.
