The amendments to the Law on Institutions of Higher Education which delegate the accreditation and licensing functions to the Academic Information Centre have been adopted by the Saeima of the Republic of Latvia on 17 December 2014 and have come into force on 1 July 2015. These relevant amendments to the Law of Institutions of Higher Education have not yet been translated from Latvian into English officially.
